I remeber Wyatt Earp Gasoline in Dodge City, Kansas back in the 1970's. My car ran so poorly on that tank of fuel, I suspected it was bio cow urine in nature!

Gourmet and Gas station don't go together. Anyone who says its gourment you know their standards aren't the highest.

I have never been to a gas station that serves 'Gourmet Gas Station Food.' I have only been to the typical gas stations with the prepackaged food, drink and that coffee dispenser. And, I will never taste the food at ‘The Grille’ inside the Dodge City BP in Shallotte, NC. It’s a left coast, right coast thing – too dang far apart.

Hope they don't use motor oil in the deep fryer.

Why can't gourmet meals be served at a gas station? This isn't a new concept (maybe in the US), Italy has been doing this forever with the Autogrill. While traveling I would prefer to choose a bowl of seafood risotto than a hot dog that has been rotating under a heat lamp for 12 hours. Thanks for the info; maybe other chefs will become Gas Station Gourmets!

To paraphrase a line from a western film:
"You ain't Gourmet, and Shallotte, NC ain't Dodge City"

Like Wow! I would actually start going to BP, once again, if they would do that up here in Wisconsin!
