Refineries exporting 2.8M gallons a day and the oil industry claims they want energy independence for the US. Just more propaganda from big oil to push their agenda.

Seeing how much gasoline we export I wonder how hideous the prices are in those places, they must be worse than here for it to be more profitable to export than sell it here for us to use.

Oil Inventories go up and so does the price of gas. The refiners must be squeezing the supply again.

The real reason gas is up is because the REPUBLICANS want all companies to make more profits and the DEMOCRATES want America to convert to other fuels so nobody in Congress cares if gas prices goes up. Nobouy is doing anything to try and lower gas prices. BIG OIL is loving every profit gouging minute of it.

Refiners are cutting down on supplies to increase prices. Americans are driving less than they have since 2003. Fuel economy on new cars is up. We are using less gas, demand is down but the PRICE IS UP!!! Today they raised the price of gas by 30 cents per gallon at every station in the area, even though the wholesale price was down 5 cents a gallon today. BIG OIL has so many of CONGRESS in their pockets, they just do what they like and are totally ignoring the SUPPLY and DEMAND pricing that they used to jack gas up to $4 a gallon in the first place back in 2006.

Crude oil inventories increased, Gasoline inventories decreased, Distillate inventories decreased and Refinery utilization rise 1.7% - gasoline production decreased, distillate fuel production increased. Refineries are undergoing maintenance and operated at less than maximum levels for the West Coast, so prices at the pump are higher. Midwest refineries operated at 90.5% to process ‘cheaper’ Canadian crude oil. Total oil stocks in the US are down. U.S. refineries exported nearly 2.8 million barrels per DAY of oil and products! Big oil and refineries continue to ‘export’ fuel for additional profits and refinery products overall are down to raise the price of fuel at the pump. The price of fuel at the pump is ‘still’ too high!

EIA is just another governmental agency that we cannot trust is not reliable... So how many millions and millions of dollars does it cost to tell us what the crude and gasoline inventories may or may not be?

What it means is that every gasoline consumer is being gouged at the pump. The local price of gasoline increased as much as 10 cents per gallon on Wednesday.

I don't look at this anymore. The Dept of Energy, which was suppose to help develop an Energy Plan, still has not done that 33 years after being created to do that. Why?
