Martinman,

Because today's event is not just about the explosion, it is how the media is reporting it.

-----------

In April the news was minimized and we were given the story that the Deep Water / BP oil well was just an exploratory well.

Later we learned it was spewing 5,000 barrels a day then a few weeks later, 10,000, then 50,000 and more.

+++++++++++

This latest event (explosion) may be big, or small.

Don't you find it interesting to see how the media (Internet) plays this latest news out?

LOL

Quote " You cherry-pick select text to push what you wanted people to see (read), versus posting the opening paragraphs which define the news article." -Thanks for your observation.

How many times has the $10 oil story been posted? I've counted at least 5.

How did I fail to post as written ? Most copy the beginning and I chose a section that supported the title in more detail. Thanks for reading the article.

Hey MM, how are you doing? Excellent comment on the " Patent application hints at possible automatic fuel stabilizer " story.
I think a lot of folks are over looking some of the advantages of the electric transportation revolution ;0).

I've been reading some of the topics you started and decided to send you a buddy request.

You wrote:it doesn't matter 'how good a job' *he* thought he did, it's how the public perceives what he's done. As the old saying goes, 'it only takes ONE "Oops s--t!", to wipe-out a thousand "good jobs"...' Plus, what kind of CEO would drop everything that they are SUPPOSED to be doing to become a 'Field General' over an situation about which they know little or nothing? I'm just mad at myself for not buying some of their stock when it was $27.

Good that you reminded us of the deepeater plumes of partially emusified oil and the oil six inches below the sediment in Alaska after 21 years.

sorry about the reposts, I thought they were somehow different stories..

Thank you for being a voice in the dark, in the wilderness! Happy 4th of July to you, it's not going to be a Happy 4th or a Merry Christmas or Happy New Year to me and many along the gulf states.
