You have an interesting contrarian perspective that seems to aggravate the extremists on both ends of the political spectrum.

Big Oil companies have NOTHING to do with prices at the pump. NOTHING. Oil and natural gas are COMMODITIES. You need to educate yourself on the stock market and how the commodities markets work.

Man you have a real problem identifying the enemy. I had that problem until obozo came along and awakened me to where this country was going. I am 4 years younger than you but still have my brain thank God, although obozo and the demons will want to tax that soon.

Umm @teatiger- when STUPID Bush was president, Gas was only $1.43 for a mere couple of Months & I believe it was right at the end of his awful presidency! awful obama was handed a bad card, but he killed things by making them WORSE & I am NOT a Republican at all! Most of Bush' running had Gas at RECORD HIGHS! $6+ per Gallon in many spots & above $4/Gal. in MOST! I saw $4.59 for the first time in my life!

Hey i agree with your post to quote you this is exactly the way i feel great comment as followed per you comment: I hate to clue you in Valricolash, but OBAMA can do NOTHING WITH GAS PRICES, that is up to congress putting restraints on WALL STREET AND SPECULATION. But that ain't about to happen with fatassed republicans controlling the HOUSE. If you remember back in 2003 BUSH decided to remove all restraints off WALL STREET AND SPECULATION so they now can do what ever they please and don't have to explain to anybody. And I hope you do remember in NOVEMBER and keep the REPUBS OUT, unless you want to live like a southern christian.

Someone who actually cared about our economy would have written the opening paragraph like this; "GM is planning to invest $328 million in Flint, $331 million in Arlington, and $275 million in Ft. Wayne, Creating at least 100 additional jobs at each factory. === === ==
The paragraph about closing plants would have been near the end of the article, with the shortest closure first and the longest closure last. ==== === ==== === === === ==
