I have always driven ford vehicles. No problems for 30 years. My next vehicle will be a ford product too.

Thinking of buying the same vehicle ... but the gas prices are pushing to a manufacturer with the best gas mileage rating.

I heard an interesting report on the radio by J.D. Power, the company thats measures consumer satisfaction for, among other things, automobiles. The report said that 42 per cent of the people polled would not buy an American car. Notice on this list there is a strong following for Japanese cars.

But the interesting thing was that in rating quality and customer satisfaction, Buick (???) and Lexus tied for first. Ford was rated highest in five different categories of customer satisfaction.

Guess all you Ford and GM afficianados have a point.

I currently own a 2002 Nissan Altima. I would go back to a Toyota or Honda because overall, I feel they were superior to my Nissan product.

I am currently looking into the "Smart Car", which is made by BMW, and is going to be marketed in this country (USA) by Dahmler. According to the web site, the MSRT is $11,750 with a list of options which are in the car shown on the web site, which appear to be a part of the MSRT. It is a very small car, only seats two persons. It has a 7.5 cubic foot trunk, so that is not going to support a lot of travel by the driver and passenger. Memory does not serve me as to the MPG that is on the web site, though I will bet it must be in the area of 50. That would be the type of car that would suit most of my driving, as I don't travel much these days (not over 200 miles). Most of the time not over 50 miles (one way.) Time will tell if we do buy this car, or if it is a "pipe dream."

Who can afford to buy a new vehicle??
Granted, prices are much less than a few years ago. But I'll be looking at a used vehicle.

I would, if I could find a new Oldsmobile to buy . . .
Since there aren't any new ones being produced any longer however, I'm buying used ones instead.

I would definitely buy another Toyota. I have a Prius right now and I absolutely love it. Fantastic little car, safe, good Toyota craftmanship, and a blast to drive! No more Fords or GMCs for me...

we have a Toyota Sienna and a Camry, and yes, we would definitely look at Toyota again for a new (or used) vehicle.
